چکیده

Two novel decoupling and matching networks (DMNs) in microstrip technology for three-element uniform circular arrays (UCAs) are investigated compared to a more conventional DMN approach with simple neutralization lines. The array elements coaxially-fed quarter-wavelength monopole antennas over finite groundplane. Three-element considered since UCAs an odd number of able provide almost constant maximum factor the whole azimuthal angular range. new designs explained from theoretical point view their implementations four- three-elements without terms bandwidth as well beamforming capabilities. In addition excellent below -16 dB, broader is obtained by two DMNs. reasons enhanced similar both cases: By introducing several circuit offering additional degrees freedom, input impedances at different frequencies becomes feasible. One presented offers larger bandwidth, while other design better total efficiency. Scattering parameters, radiation patterns, capabilities, gain all verified measurements operating bandwidth.

Compact and Wideband Fylfot-Shaped Planar Monopole Antenna

In this paper, a novel compact and wideband fylfot-shaped planar monopole antenna is proposed. The fylfot-shaped is suggested to reduce the volume of a general crossed planar monopole antenna. The volume of the proposed antenna is about 1/4 of a general crossed planar monopole antenna under the conditions where the wideband characteristics are maintained. This technique is suitable for the desi...

A Compact Dual Band-notched Circular Ring Printed Monopole Antenna for Super-wideband Applications

In this article, a simple and compact dual bandnotched (DBN) super wideband (SWB) printed monopole antenna (PMA) has been proposed. The proposed antenna composed of a circular PMA, which is connected through a 50-Ω triangular tapered microstrip fed line (TTMFL) and a round-cornered finite ground plane (RCFGP). It exhibits a very wide frequency band from 1.6–25 GHz (ratio bandwidth of 15.63:1) w...

Compact Wideband Rectangular Monopole Antenna for Wireless Applications

This article presents a compact wideband microstrip-fed planar monopole antenna composed of a rectangular patch and slotted ground structure. By placing pair of symmetrical square stubs, making slots in the stubs, putting stubs on the sides of the radiating patch, gives wide-band characteristics. The antenna only one of its kinds in structure, small in size and simple design due to less number ...

Ray Tracing Based Channel Analysis Involving Compact MIMO Antenna Arrays With Decoupling Networks

The channel characteristics of the compact Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) antenna arrays with decoupling networks are studied. Two 2×2 systems with monopole antennas are chosen as test cases. The analysis is performed by means of a ray tracing technique. Using such an asymptotic method allows to analyze large problems rather efficiently. This is especially critical for the outdoor propag...
